On November 19, 2013 the Intergraph company announced an exit of a new solution - Intergraph Smart 3D 2014.

Smart3D is the complex approach to design implementing work with the uniform integrated information model, in real time - not with separate data, documents and drawings. The consolidation SmartPlant 3D, SmartMarine 3D and SmartPlant 3D Materials Handling Edition the processing industry, shipbuilding or mineral extraction gives an opportunity of execution of multidirectional project activity, regardless of the main profile of the enterprise, whether it be the power engineering specialist.

Innovations

Advanced functionality of the mechanism of data transfer between projects or their repeated use (Model Data Reuse) is realized in the newest version of software and is, according to Intergraph developers, unique among all range of 3D CAD solutions in the market. New opportunities help to replicate the existing practices, since a stage of FEED and, if necessary, to use the different systems of naming and coding on other projects. The feature for transfer as templates (settings) and orthogonal drawings is added.

The latest Interop technology allows to consolidate design data of different platforms of three-dimensional design in a uniform information 3D model. Smart 3D allows to combine parts of projects from a different CAD, including not only graphical representation, but also technical data, giving new opportunities for projects of upgrade or big projects with participation of several subcontractors.

Functionality of the latest technology of converting (conversion) of project data on the Smart 3D platform in data on the PDMS AVEVA platform allows to uchuvstvovat in tenders, to execute projects and to provide them to the customer, without changing IT - infrastructure of project office.
