2019: Start
On December 24, 2019 it became known that "Yandex" started for banks service under the name "Internet Scoring of Bureau" which is intended for assessment of solvency of Russians. It is the joint project with the Joint Credit Bureau (JCB).
According to RBC, a research is conducted on the basis of statistics of "Yandex" about users and data of experimental design bureau on the credits, requests for the credits, payments and credit load of Russians. The companies have no information access of each other.
In "Yandex" do not open what data are used for creation of scoring model. The edition source close to one of project participants explained that the credit bureau transfers to "Yandex" in encrypted form two customer IDs — the e-mail address and the mobile phone. On the basis of these data a system builds model and issues digit — a certain percent. At the same time "Yandex" cannot understand on what person it received a request and does not transfer data of clients to someone.
According to the representative of "Yandex", the result is not a guide to action and does not influence the scoring point appropriated to BKI. It has only advisory nature and is transferred for use only in the marketing purposes, he added.
The scoring point, even received on the basis of the depersonalized and aggregated data, raises a possibility of banks to estimate solvency of potential borrowers, the CEO of National rating agency Alexey Bogomolov considers.
According to the managing partner of Kocherin and Partners law company Vladislav Kocherin use by banks of the depersonalized data in scoring does not contradict the law, but does not insure the company against claims and a reputational risk.
If refused to the citizen the credit because he often looks for bars in the searcher of "Yandex", the client can consider it a reason for the claim — the lawyer noted.[1] |
