Irdeto Hosted CA is the cloud version of a beskartochny system of conditional access of Irdeto Cloaked CA.

The Irdeto company at the end of January, 2018 announced start of the solution of Hosted CA in Russia. The started solution of Irdeto Hosted CA in general allows operators to acquire the rights to broadcast of content which is in high demand and also to use a broad spectrum of different devices for the offer of attractive services in competitive prices.

Hosted CA represents the cloud version of a beskartochny system of conditional access of Irdeto Cloaked CA based on the personalized chipsets and Irdeto Software Obfuscation and Whitebox Cryptography complemented with modern security technologies of the software. The combination of functionality allowed to create the safe, multifunction and updated system of conditional access with the beskartochny client. Irdeto Cloaked CA is a beskartochny client of Irdeto which, in turn, is the most important component of a packet of complex security Irdeto 360 Security capable to support all new technologies of protection and also to consider all changes in the market.

According to developers, the solution of Irdeto Hosted CA can have a particular interest for small and medium operators of cable television, providing them the model with payment in process of growth ("pay as you grow") which is not requiring initial capital investments but only a one-time payment for activation of each device. It will allow operators to implement at itself the security system enjoying confidence of owners of both basic, and bonus content 4K; at the same time permanent updating of the security level of a system without additional investments from the operator is performed.
