Ivanti Endpoint Manager (before LANDesk Management Suite (LANDesk Management Automation Platform) – the integrated solution on management of IT processes giving to the organizations an opportunity is easy to define, build, implement and execute cross-platform IT processes. The platform is designed to help the organizations to cut down expenses, to exclude variability of processes and to reach compliance to politicians on all enterprise.

According to Ivanti (before LANDesk), about 30% of operational IT expenses can be carried to the excessive and repeating tasks, to badly documented or not to the corresponding best practices to processes. Thanks to an open architecture LANDesk Management Automation Platform allows to implement process automation concerning different IT functions and solutions, including LANDesk Management Suite, LANDesk Security Suite, LANDesk Asset Lifecycle Manager and LANDesk Service Desk.

LANDesk Management Automation Platform supports as all products LANDesk, and can be applied with solutions of third-party producers, providing automation of works, tasks, processes and actions and also provides access to a collection of the standard templates corresponding to the advanced practicians and standards. Including four edges of functionality – Content and Resource, Best Practice Processes, Software Development Kit (SDK) and Connections – LANDesk Management Automation Platform gives the chance to the organizations to automate the repeating manual processes and it is better to manage changes, improvements of the existing processes, reaching at the same time a full compliance to requirements, standards and politicians, such as CoBIT, Sarbanes Oxley, HIPAA, etc., noted in LANDesk Software.

With the first release of LANDesk Management Automation Platform users and developers will get access to the following tools: Content and Resource Center is the uniform repository helping to identify, define, project and improve processes (Resource Center will contain template libraries of processes in order that users could load and exchange easily processes and also the web designer of processes); Best Practice Processes — together with Management Automation Platform LANDesk provided to the users about 165 templates of the processes constructed according to the advanced practicians and industry standards and also on the basis of practical experience of customers of LANDesk; Software Development Kit is the open platform allowing to integrate functionality of different products for the purpose of providing service, API provides access to functional elements and the Management Automation Platform components, SDK gives the chance to closely integrate external applications of both LANDesk, and third-party producers (SDK includes graphic tools easy in use for modeling and configuring of processes, audit, the reporting and the analysis); migration on Windows 7 — LANDesk Management Suite 9 provides migration on new operating systems, such as Microsoft Windows 7, defines readiness for migration and books audit of compatibility of applications with the minimum influence on work of users (the announced new LANDesk Win32-console working running Windows 7 of both 32 bits, and 64 bits simplifies deployment of Windows 7, providing both PXE, and Virtual Boot image; also use of a hardware-independent image is provided that allows administrators to develop a uniform image on any hardware platforms); connectors of workflows — allow to integrate functionality of business systems, such as ERP CRM, Service Management, etc., act as receivers of data from external systems and are "an integration point" and functional tools for creation of cross-platform automatic processes.
