2023: Start of Sales

At the end of October 2023, Geely and Baidu officially launched the 01 Robocar futuristic robotic car as part of their Ji Yue joint venture. This car, endowed with an advanced autopilot system, is capable of moving around cities without a driver.

The car is made on the Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA). Customers can choose between 71.4 kVt·ch and 100 kVt·ch battery packs. In the first case, an estimated range of about 550 km is provided, in the second - 720 km. The powerplant is offered in single and dual electric motor configurations, providing 200 kW or 400 kW and 0 to 100 km/h acceleration in 3.8 seconds. It will take no more than 30 minutes to replenish the energy reserve before 80% when using an express charging station.

01 Robocar

The on-board computer system is based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 processor. The chip is responsible for speech recognition and complex driving scenarios. In particular, the voice assistant is able to understand commands spoken in natural language and have up to four conversations at the same time.

Robo Drive Max technology is implemented - a system that allows the car to move completely offline. The car can change lanes and overtake, maneuver on the highway and drive off the road, avoid obstacles in several lanes, recognize traffic lights and pedestrian crossings. The car can give way to pedestrians and assess the situation in difficult turns.

Robomobile owners can use the AVP autonomous parking function: the car is able to find a place up to 2 km away. At the same time, the voice assistant works even in the absence of an Internet connection. The system uses HD cameras, ultrasonic sensors and other sensors to detect and recognize objects.^[1]
