In early September 2024, Julu introduced smart dumbbells with the ability to automatically change mass to perform various strength exercises. The novelty is able to collect information about training and track the user's physical indicators.

To adjust the weight of the dumbbell, just place it on special stands with a built-in touchscreen display. Through this screen, the user sets the desired mass, after which the system independently adds or removes the required number of pancakes. Thus, you do not need to do this procedure manually each time. According to the developers, the dumbbells are equipped with a unique fixing mechanism that eliminates the likelihood of spontaneous disconnection of pancakes: this guarantees the safety of classes. The weight of each dumbbell can be adjusted in the range of 2.7 to 16.3 kg. It is said about the use of environmentally friendly materials and the presence of a convenient anti-slip handle. The novelty is well suited for those who want to gradually and safely increase strength and endurance.

The smart sports shell received a real-time data tracking function. Through the accompanying mobile application for Android and iOS operating systems, you can monitor current and historical progress, view the number of approaches, etc. In addition, the program calculates the number of calories spent, helping to improve the effectiveness of training. The application makes it possible to compete with other athletes and receive motivation from members of the Julu community.

As of early September 2024, a set of dumbbells costs approximately $240. The set includes pancakes for weight adjustment, stands, as well as a USB Type-C cable and operating manual.^[1]
