In the middle of September, 2019 Bayer Healthcare provided the system of introduction of contrast for KT Medrad Stellant Flex with which even the physician first-year student will deal.
Stellant Flex is the system of introduction of contrast which requires the minimum training and working off of skills, representatives of the company claim. A system arranges protocols of preparation for KT under each patient thanks to flexible options. Key features of the system of Stellant Flex were developed for increase in efficiency. Including the 150 and 200 ml syringes, new technology for visualization of liquids and determination of the size of the syringe, batch number and an expiration date on a barcode were entered. Enhanced accuracy of work and the automated maintaining documentation allow to optimize work of the radiologist.
Automatic registration of parameters of contrast using Stellant Flex facilitates work of the doctor, reduces quantity of routine tasks and, therefore, potential errors. The Bayer company stated that when developing a new system engineers considered the changing health care environment. The general decrease in capital financing leads to reduction of operating budgets of hospitals owing to what the need for the devices allowing to carry out more effective and economical work when preserving service quality increases. The system of introduction of KT of contrast Medrad Stellant Flex is intended for the solution of similar clinical and financial problems.
Besides, the Bayer TechCARE program will allow organizations to maximize the investments. The program combines complex service of Bayer with two updates of the hardware during the three-year contract. It prevents obsolescence of the equipment and also allows to avoid breaks in service.[1]
