On February 25, 2026, the concern Kalashnikov"" announced the development of the first Russia drone kamikaze in the tactical class, which is able to cover distances over 100 km. A guided ammunition complex called "KUB-10ME" was created in record time, taking into account the experience gained in the zone of special military operation (WO).
"KUB-10ME" is designed for operation during the day and at night, including in difficult weather conditions. The device is capable of functioning at temperatures from minus 30 to plus 40 degrees Celsius and gusts of wind up to 10 m/s. Cruising speed is 120 km/h. Tasks can be performed in the altitude range from 80 to 1800 m.
The equipment of the kamikaze drone includes an optical-electronic guidance system that allows you to hit moving targets. Aerial photography and video are provided with recording of information received from the aircraft. Improved protection against electronic warfare (electronic warfare) and air defense (air defense) has been implemented.
The device is designed for high-precision enemy armored personnel carriers; unarmored and lightly armored military equipment; elements of command posts of divisions, battalions, divisions of anti-aircraft missile systems, including cars with electronic equipment and manpower in personal armor protection equipment; objects of air defense formations, missile defense, radio technical reconnaissance and electronic warfare; rear support facilities; launch positions of complexes with unmanned aerial vehicles; aircraft or helicopters out of hiding at basing sites.
Military expert, captain of the first rank of the reserve Vasily Dandykin, in an interview with Лентой.ру, noted that the KUB-10ME complex is capable of destroying targets in the depths of the enemy's rear. According to him, such a product "will undoubtedly affect the course of hostilities."[1]
