2025: Product Announcement

The Rosel holding has completed tests of the first fully domestic compact power source designed for telecommunications and server equipment. The new device has a high efficiency and modular architecture that ensures uninterrupted operation of systems. Serial production of products is planned to begin in 2025. The press service of Rostec (Rosel is part of this state corporation) announced this on August 18, 2025.

The development of power sources was carried out by the Kalugapribor enterprise, which is part of the Avtomatika concern of the Rosel holding. Engineers created devices based on the Titan universal digital hardware and software platform, which made it possible to implement several modifications depending on the required output power.

The first Russian power supply for servers has been released

Russian power supplies demonstrate an efficiency of 89%, which corresponds to the Platinum energy efficiency class according to the international standard 80 PLUS. This indicator is one of the highest in the world system for assessing the energy efficiency of power sources.

A design feature of the devices is a modular architecture with two independent units operating in parallel mode. A special control unit monitors the load distribution between modules and balances their operation.

In the event of a failure of one of the system components, its functions automatically switch to a working module. The standby element continues to provide full power to the server equipment without stopping, shutting down, or rebooting the systems.

The Russian power supply is equipped with an integrated system for protection against overcurrent and short circuit. Built-in sensors monitor the critical parameters of the device and prevent emergencies.[1]
