2025: Serial production of a line of domestic special adhesives
Rosel Holding of Rostec State Corporation has begun mass production of a line of domestic special adhesives with high electrical and thermal conductivity. Previously, such materials were purchased only abroad. Such adhesives are used in the production of microassemblies and complex units of radioelectronic equipment, which are used, for example, in secure laptops, radars, chassis control systems, etc. The material ensures the reliability of the products even in extreme conditions. Rostec announced this on August 11, 2025.
The composition was developed by specialists from the Central Design Bureau of Special Radio Materials (TsKB RM), which is part of Rosel.
The glue has a density of at least 3.6 g/sm³, it fits well to the surface without forming voids. This is critical when assembling chips. The thermal conductivity of the substance is at least 10.5 W/m * K, almost like some metals, which helps to remove heat from heating parts. The adhesive can be operated at extreme temperatures from − 60 ° C to + 175 ° C.
Such characteristics allow the development to be used to create electrical contacts on microplates, as well as to use it for mounting crystals and other electronic components.
Unlike traditional welding or soldering, high temperature is not required to solidify the adhesive, which prevents deformation of the microcircuits.
| The absence of solvents in the adhesive composition and the low cure temperature will allow it to be used in the production of electronics of various classes. Glue will also reduce the cost of production, since previously such materials were purchased abroad. The novelty has successfully passed the tests and is already being mass-produced, - said Valery Sazonov, General Director of the Central Design Bureau of the Republic of Moldova. |
