History

2024: PCB Production Upgrade

The Omsk Research Institute of Instrument Engineering of the Roselectronics holding (part of the Rostec state corporation) has increased production capacity for the production of printed circuit boards, including a high class of accuracy. This was reported to TAdviser on April 9, 2024 by representatives of Roselectronics.

According to them, the modernization of production will make it possible to produce up to 2500 m ² double-sided and 500 m ² multilayer printed circuit boards per year, as well as one-sided, double-sided, multilayer (up to 12 layers) and microstrip printed circuit boards of the third and fourth with elements of the fifth accuracy class. The launch of new equipment also ensured a twofold increase in labor productivity in certain areas.

PCB Manufacturing Equipment

The modernization of the machine farm for the production of printed circuit boards was carried out within the framework of the federal program for the technical re-equipment of industrial enterprises and using the company's own funds.

The quality of printed circuit boards is checked by the installation of electrical control and automatic optical inspection, which significantly reduces the influence of the human factor.

In addition, according to Roselectronics, the possibilities of production for obtaining a diagram pattern, combining the inner layers of multilayer printed circuit boards, etching the outer and inner layers, as well as applying preliminary galvanic tightening into the holes of printed circuit boards have expanded.

"The new equipment will allow us not only to raise the quality of manufactured printed circuit boards to a fundamentally new level, but also has already helped to achieve an increase in labor productivity in a number of operations. For example, the operation of pre-tightening the holes of printed circuit boards was reduced by 1.5 times, and the operations of pressing multilayer printed circuit boards, etching layers and machining printed circuit boards - by 2 times, "said Vladimir Berezovsky, General Director of ONIIP.

2022

Delivery of domestic components from Roselectronics

The Roselectronics holding of the Rostec State Corporation announced on April 22, 2022 that it was ready to supply a domestic element base for subscriber terminals of the Gonets low-orbit satellite system. This became one of the main issues of discussion during the visit of representatives of the management of Satellite System Gonets JSC (part of the Roscosmos State Corporation) to the Omsk Research Institute of Instrumentation (ONIIP, part of the Roselectronics holding). Opening of a research laboratory together with OmGUPS

Holding "Roselectronics" State Corporation Rostec and Omsk State University of Railways opened a research laboratory "Technologies of artificial intelligence." The laboratory will investigate the use of artificial intelligence in promising radio communication systems. Roselectronics announced this on March 3, 2022.

The laboratory was created on the basis of OmGUPS together with the Omsk Research Institute of Instrument Engineering, which is part of Roselectronics. Read more here.
