JSC Concern Avtomatika is an enterprise of the Russian Federation on information security problems, the development and production of technical means and systems of classified communications, secure information and telecommunication systems, as well as special-purpose automated control systems. It produces products both in the interests of state authorities and law enforcement agencies, and in the interests of commercial organizations. It is part of Rostec State Corporation.
Products
The list of the company's products includes systems for automating electoral processes (complexes of electronic voting and processing of ballots), as well as solutions for Safe City projects and the Internet of Things. In particular, the concern creates intelligent mechatronic systems for elevators and industrial ventilation systems, protection systems against cyber attacks for FNIV and business, integrated security systems and monitoring parameters of the state of transport infrastructure facilities.
The concern produces encryption systems for analog and digital information flows, telephone protection devices designed to build secure systems based on public telecommunications. "Automation" also performs work in the fields of civil cryptographic applications: electronic digital signature, protection of fiscal information, protection of electronic documents, cryptographic copyright protection, identification and authentication of subscribers in the system.

2020: Revenue growth from sales of civilian products by 6%
On April 14, 2021, the Avtomatika concern announced an increase in revenue from sales of civilian products in 2020 by 6% (more than 65% of the holding's revenue). In general, last year the concern continued to stably implement the order of the President of the Russian Federation to diversify production.
In addition to planned projects in 2020, the holding focused on the development of innovative solutions designed to increase the safety and comfort of citizens in the context of the spread of coronavirus infection (COVID-19). Among the new products is the product line developed by the enterprises of the Avtomatika concern, in particular, the EcoGateway disinfectant plant, designed to equip passing enterprises and public places. 2019: Revenue growth by 30% to RUB 49.9 billion

2024: Transfer of CEO to house arrest

Accusation of issuing Chinese antennas for their own subsidies to receive 300 million rubles
At the end of June 2023, it became known that the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation appealed to the Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR) with a demand to recover from the daughter of Rostec - JSC Concern Avtomatika - 300 million rubles. for the development of satellite communications.
According to Kommersant, the TFR received materials on the alleged facts of fraud by the Avtomatika concern when allocating subsidies to the enterprise for the creation of antenna systems for satellite communications in airplanes, ships, cars, as well as trains. JSC Concern Avtomatika acquired analogues in the Chinese market of the system and issued antenna complexes purchased in China for its own development, this was confirmed during the inspection of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
On June 15, 2021, an agreement was signed between the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and JSC Concern Avtomatika on partial subsidies from the federal budget for the creation of a scientific and technical reserve for the development of technologies for the production of priority electronic components and wireless electronic equipment. During the implementation of the project in the period from 2021 to 2024, JSC Concern Avtomatika was supposed to receive a subsidy of 400 million 746 thousand rubles in several tranches.
In October 2021, the managing director of the Rostec state corporation Oleg Yevtushenko said that samples of the antenna system had already been experimentally installed in one of the long-distance passenger railway cars. In August 2022, Rostec already showed the entire line of antenna systems for cars, trains, helicopters, aircraft and ships.
In May 2023, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation conducted an audit, according to which it turned out that the developed products use software purchased in China, the source codes for which JSC Concern Avtomatika does not have, and the components of the antenna systems are imported, which contradicts the original terms of the agreement with the department.
As of June 2023, JSC Concern Avtomatika, where the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation sent a corresponding act, does not agree with the conclusions of the visiting commission of the department, according to Kommersant, and voluntarily return the already received 300 million rubles. allegedly not going.[1]

Determination of shares in Kryptonite joint venture
