History

2023: Launch of the workshop for serial production of modernized models of large-sized sowing equipment "Bystrica"

Penza "Radio Plant" holding "Roselectronics" (part of the State Corporation Rostec) with the support of the Industrial Development Fund launched a workshop for the serial production of modernized models of large-sized sowing equipment "Bystrica." Thanks to technical re-equipment, the capacity of the enterprise for the production of agricultural machinery has doubled, and the level of localization has reached 85%. Roselectronics announced this on August 24, 2023.

As part of the project financed by the FRP, Radiozavod modernized the Bystrica sowing equipment mass-produced at the enterprise - a pneumatic sowing bunker was created using corrosion-resistant materials, designed to load seeds and fertilizers.

In addition, the company has developed and started field tests of models of pneumatic trailed seeders, as well as sowing complexes. This technique is able to perform several technological operations in one pass across the field, which helps farmers reduce costs and increase efficiency. The products are characterized by increased surface resistance to abrasion and occurrence of corrosion foci. The availability of additional options allows you to select equipment depending on the sowing technology and agroclimatic conditions in the places of operation.

Thanks to the financial support of the Industrial Development Fund, Radiozavod designers have developed new data on sowing equipment that are already being tested in the fields of the Penza region. Moreover, during the project, we modernized the produced line of pneumatic sowing equipment and launched its mass production. In general, the launch of the workshop will strengthen the existing market positions of the enterprise, increasing the share of civilian products produced from 11% in 2021 to 20% by 2025, - said Oleg Ratnikov, General Director of Radiozavod JSC.

Total investments in the project amounted to 263 million rubles, of which 211 million rubles for the purchase of high-tech equipment were provided in the form of a concessional loan by the Federal Industrial Development Fund (FRP).

As of November 2010, Radio Plant OJSC (Penza) is one of the leading enterprises in the Russian electronic industry. The main activity of the plant is the development, production and modernization of complex automated special-purpose radio control systems for the needs of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. Today, Radiozavod OJSC is a multidisciplinary enterprise, the activities of which, in addition to the creation of a special-purpose ACS, apply to the production of mobile medical equipment under the MEDTEKO trademark, agricultural equipment of the Bystrica trademark, products for the oil and gas complex, safety equipment for power, equipment for RAO Russian Railways, household products and goods for the population. As of November 2010, the company employed over 2,000 people.
