2023: Building a Company

In early July 2023, information appeared that the Element group, a joint venture of the state corporation Rostec and AFK Sistema, formed a new company called Nanotronics.

According to the report, CNews"Nanotronics" is based in Zelenograd. Its only founder is Element JSC, and Mikhail Kotlyakov is the general director. According to information on economic activity according to the All-Russian Classifier of Economic Activities (OKVED), the new company has identified several areas of work for itself. This is, in particular, the production of computers, peripheral and communication equipment, as well as elements of electronic equipment; repair of hardware components; creation software , etc.

Group "Element" formed a new company called "Nanotronics"

It is noted that the Element group includes about two dozen companies and organizations specializing in the development and production of microelectronic products. Among them - "Research Institute of Electronic Technology (NIIET)," "Research Institute of Electronic and Microelectronic Equipment (NIIMA)" Progress, "" Semiconductor Device Plant, "" Research Institute of Molecular Electronics "(NIIME)," VZPP-Micron "(" Voronezh Semiconductor Device Plant ")," Citronics-MD "and others.

In addition, the Element group includes the Zelenograd manufacturer of integrated circuits Micron. Whether this enterprise will cooperate with the Nanotronics company is not reported. However, the choice of Zelenograd to create a new structure may not be accidental. In the current geopolitical situation, the emergence of Nanotronics will contribute to the implementation of a comprehensive import substitution program in the IT sphere.^[1]
