Ozon shares allowed to trade on Astana stock exchange
Ozon's American depositary shares were admitted to trading on the Astana International Exchange (AIX) under the ticker symbol OZON. The press service of the company announced this on July 28, 2023.
Ozon securities trading on IX will begin on July 31, 2023. The marketplace will not issue new shares or securities in connection with the listing on the Astana International Exchange - already issued ADSs will be able to apply on the site. It is also noted that the listing on AIX does not affect trading on the Moscow Exchange - they will continue as usual. In addition, the retailer is in the process of appealing Nasdaq's delisting decision by the end of July 2023.
The company expects that listing on AIX could potentially increase the liquidity of ADS Ozon and provide investors, including international ones, with the opportunity to trade securities on the stock exchange.
AIX is a full member of the World Federation of Exchanges and is in the best interests of our investors. It is suitable for the circulation of American depositary shares and works on the basis of English law, which is familiar to most international investors, - explained the choice of site by a representative of Ozon. |
