Containerum

Containerum develops the platform of management of microservice applications in a cloud. Containerum technologies reduce time of an output of IT services or their updates for the market.

At the end of August, 2019 MTS announced Containerum acquisition — a startup from own accelerator of MTS StartUp Hub. Financial terms of transaction do not reveal. Send the operator the rights to the Containerum platform and a command of the purchased company.

It is supposed that the Containerum technology will allow to reduce to provider time to market of new container service on average by one and a half-two years.

On the basis of Containerum the operator creates the new cloud direction. The cloud service capable to twice accelerate start of IT solutions and to increase competitiveness of the Russian business, says MTS will be developed for clients of#CloudMTS provider.

Within the new cloud#CloudMTS direction will provide to the companies container services which provide many times more rapid development, deployment and administration of IT solutions in a cloud.

The new service Containerum Managed Kubernetes will be provided in a format of service. It will allow the companies at least to reduce the costs connected with development and an output of new IT solutions to the market by 40%. The service will allow to use cloud space more economically: on one virtual server it will be possible to place two-three times more applications. Container service will provide the multiple growth of fault tolerance of applications in the period of peak loads, will also minimize idle times during updates. Reliable functioning of IT solutions of clients is ensured by automatic monitoring of loading and redistribution of the entering client traffic between servers.

In one and a half years of work of MTS StartUp Hub implemented 15 technological solutions in different divisions of MTS company.
