History

2021: Raising $25 million

In mid-September 2021, DataChat, which develops the forecast analytics service of the same name, attracted $25 million in investments as part of the Series A round. The main investors in this transaction were the Redline Capital fund, owned by the main beneficiary of Sistema AFK Vladimir Yevtushenkov, as well as Anthos Capital. In addition, Celesta Capital and Nepenthe Capital funds took part in the funding round.

Business data analytics are largely stuck in a decade-old process driven by traditional business intelligence tools. Jignesh and his team have a radically different approach to democratizing analytics using a new conversational paradigm and have a convincing vision of how to fundamentally change the existing analytics ecosystem in the market. In 2021, users of existing data analysis platforms can answer complex analytical questions based on dashboard or prepared spreadsheets, but cannot create new, complex analytical processes using advanced methods, such as simple machine learning. To solve the problem of expanding the capabilities of users for business, the startup DataChat provides self-service in the field of data science through chat using the platform all in one.
