2021: Launch Accelerator for Medical Digital Developers

In mid-September 2021, Moscow authorities announced the launch of Russia's first acceleration program for startups developing digital technologies in the healthcare sector.

According to Anastasia Rakova, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Social Development, accelerator participants will be able to launch pilot projects on the basis of Moscow medical institutions, as well as private Medsi clinics.

Among the directions of the acceleration program are big data analysis technologies and the use of artificial intelligence to support medical decision-making; medical devices for data collection and analysis; Remote Patient Status Monitoring Services preventive medicine, biohacking services aimed at controlling patient health.

Moscow has launched an accelerator for developers of medical digital technologies

The acceptance of applications for participation in the accelerator will end on October 25, 2021. Some of the main selection criteria of winners: the startup has to correspond to the stated program track, have the ready-made product or MVP (minimum viable product (minimum viable product) - the service having sufficient qualities and the minimum functions to attract the first users). The winners will receive 2 million rubles for piloting projects from the Moscow Center for Innovative Technologies.

The venues for introducing the best solutions within the accelerator will be Medsi's flagship assets - clinical and diagnostic centers on Belorussian and Krasnaya Presnya.

Educational webinars with the participation of the best speakers of Medsi TechTour organized by the company for the accelerator participants. The program implemented a win-win strategy, when startups receive feedback from medical specialists to test their technologies on big data.[1]
