On June 21, 2019 the Ministry of digital development, communication and mass communications of the Russian Federation announced start in Dubai of the Russian center of digital innovations and ICT. It opened with assistance of the Russian export center in so-called Silicon Valley of the UAE — Dubai Internet City.

Without local partners it is not so simple to achieve ambitious goals. The deputy minister invited the Russian companies to use the new, developed infrastructure and to expect the help of the Russian government.
The CEO of Rosinfokominvest fund subordinated to the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications Georgy Mikaberidze noted that the new center gives an opportunity cheap to enter the new market.
