About some projects of the nanocenter
Navigation system of mobile robots
Development of the multifunction management system providing autonomous movement of mobile robots in premises. Application of original algorithms of planning of a route simplifies security of movement in a zone with dynamic obstacles. The project is a winner of the tenders "START" of Fund of assistance to development of small forms of the enterprises and "Recreating Silicon Valley" (Stanford university). Project revenue in 2013 exceeded 3 million rubles.
Within a startup development of a line of the modern object-oriented DWH focused both on a segment of high-performance computing systems (HPC) and is planned for the market of corporate clients and SMB.
Robotechnical engineering company
The company develops solutions in the field of robotics. Among them – the universal robotic platform, capable to move on vertical and oblique surfaces from solid materials, intended for accomplishment of different technology tasks (diagnostics of a status of a surface, cleaning, painting). Other developments – the automation system of harvesters, the personal independent minirobot, the universal controller for creation of robots.
The server systems with liquid cooling
Development of the server systems with single-circuit cooling with silicone oil for creation of energy efficient and compact data centers with a possibility of fast deployment.
Main specializations
The nanotechnology center "T-Nano" announced the main specializations within which the most part of its projects will be implemented in March, 2013. The nanocenter will specialize in design and development of microelectronic components and systems on a crystal, robotics, disruptive IT, development of a specialized software.
The portfolio of the nanocenter includes projects on development of processors based on a core of ARM, storage systems, the neural network cognitive systems, a number of projects on robotics.
The general budget of the nanocenter – 2 billion rubles.
Opening
The CEO Fonda of infrastructure and educational programs Andrey Svinarenko and the CEO of T-Platforms company Vsevolod Opanasenko opened in December, 2013 in Moscow the nanotechnology center "T-Nano". The general project budget makes 2002 million rubles, including joint financing of Fund of infrastructure and educational programs in the amount of 1200 million rubles.
The main objective of the nanocenter – development of startups in the field of microelectronics and hardware devices; robotics and artificial intelligence; microelectronics; storage systems and data transmission. Besides, the nanocenter renders services in the field of lease of computing powers, accomplishment of custom calculations, modeling of physical processes, scientific experiments.
Based on the T-Nano nanocenter the computing cluster with a total power of 220 TFLOPS which will be used as the project companies of the nanocenter, and for rendering services to external customers is under construction. After completion of construction the cluster of T-HAHO will enter the rating of TOP-500 of the most powerful calculators in the world.
Today the Board of Directors of the nanotechnology center approves 15 startups. It is planned that by the end of 2013 this digit will increase to 17.
2012: Agreement on creation of the T-Nano nanocenter
The agreement on creation of the T-Nano nanocenter was signed in the summer of 2012 as a result of a victory of T-Platforms company - the international developer of supercomputers and the supplier of a full range of solutions and services for high-performance computing - in tender of projects of the creation of the nanotechnology centers which is carried out by Fund of infrastructure and educational programs (RUSNANO). Winners of this tender were selected by the Tender committee based on the scientific and technical, investment and legal examinations of introduced drafts which are carried out by independent experts.
"Work of the nanotechnology center will allow to diversify business of T-Platforms company and will increase competitiveness of the Russian microelectronic industry in general, - Evdokimov Andrey, the CEO of the nanotechnology center "T-Nano" comments. - It will become possible due to development of own chips which are going to be applied as a part of own solutions of T-Platforms company and in hi-tech products of other companies. Besides, we are going to take broad part in development of new technologies in the field of artificial intelligence, robotics and other perspective projects".
