2016: The official opening of the technopark

On April 19, 2016, the first private information technology park in the Chelyabinsk region was officially opened. This is a joint investment project of the RVC Infrastructure Fund and private investor Maxim Sudakov, created with the support of the Government and the Ministry of Information Technology of the Chelyabinsk Region.

Technopark occupies 2200 square meters. m in a new building in the modern growing district of Chelyabinsk. Its anchor residents have already become the largest IT companies in the region, technology companies of the early stages are actively involved both as permanent residents and participants in individual programs and events. In general, the IT park is able to provide about 100 jobs, including the coworking zone and the incubator sector.

"A technopark is an opportunity for an early-stage IT business or a team of IT graduates who only plans to launch a business, immerse themselves in an environment where there are all the necessary components for a successful start: expert support, access to the investment community, the opportunity to build or expand professional and industry ties," said Alexander Loktev, general director of Infrafond RVC.

"We believe that this will allow us to identify existing problems that hinder the growth of this industry, develop options for their solutions, create new projects, retain existing personnel and attract investment in the region."

The IT park is primarily infrastructure support.
