2025: Opening of a new building in the Moscow region
A new building of the branch of the A.A. Vishnevsky Clinical Hospital was opened in Krasnoznamensk, equipped with more than 7,100 units of modern medical equipment. The medical center, designed to provide highly qualified care to military personnel, their family members and veterans, was inaugurated on May 16, 2025.
According to Komsomolskaya Pravda, State Secretary - Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Anna Tsivileva and Deputy Minister of Defense Major General Pavel Fradkov took part in the opening ceremony. The new medical building is part of a program to modernize the military medical infrastructure, implemented on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The new medical center has 586 rooms and 36 wards. The building includes neurological, cutaneous-venereological, gastroenterological, pulmonological, physiotherapeutic, operating departments, as well as clinical and biochemical laboratories, departments of infectious immunology and bacteriology.
For the diagnosis and treatment of patients, the center is equipped with offices for neurofunctional research, endocrinology, ultrasound diagnostics and magnetic resonance imaging. There are departments of electrical, photo-, ultrasonic, inhalation and magnetotherapy, heat therapy, as well as central sterilization.
The hospital has installed over 7100 units of modern medical equipment, including MRI devices, artificial lung ventilation, echoencephaloscope, electroencephalograph, electromyograph. There are also devices of various modifications for physiotherapy, devices for conducting medical research of organs and body systems, all kinds of simulators for successful rehabilitation of patients.[1]
