The service and the company of the same name were created in 2010 in Bryansk by group of supporter developers. Founders of the company - Dmitry Chistov and Andrey Petrenko. Service was invested twice. The first time Pavel Cherkashin, the Russian angel investor specializing in development of IT projects (less than $100 thousand). The second time - Softline Venture Partners, investment volume - $500 thousand. The development center of the company is in Bryansk.
Copiny.com represents the platform for the organization of client communities on the Internet. She allows to create "live" online communities, to connect them to the website of the customer and to social networks, integrating different channels of communication with clients.
Initially the Copiny company positioned the product as service of a feedback on the Internet, being guided by a segment of SMB. The main model of sales was the Freemium model – the free version of a product with limited functionality and paid inexpensive rates. However very quickly large corporate clients became interested in the solution Copiny: banks, telecom, retailers, FMCG brands. These companies had a real need for the organization of effective client communities for network, and they brought to the company to more than 90% of income.
The Enterprise segment has big Internet audience, and the Copiny platform is capable to solve effectively in this niche the following problems: decrease in load of support and self-service of clients; increase in a customer loyalty and sales increase; involvement of new clients; organization of effective work with a negative.
In the summer of 2013 the company management made tough decision: change a business model, refuse the free version of a product and, in fact, from 10000 clients – representatives of small and medium business, to adapt development in compliance with tasks of big corporate customers and to change approach to sales and marketing.
Since June, 2013 Copiny positions the solution as the platform for the organization of client communities on the Internet. For the last year the company expanded functionality of solution SaaS, finished it under requirements of an Enterprise segment. Now the developer uses a new format of work with large customers: the personal account manager works with each customer, specialists render services in training and the complex project of creation of client communities. Besides, the line of the tariff plans Copiny was replenished with several specialized offers for large corporate clients. Today the subscription for the solution costs from 100 thousand to 3 million rubles a year.
