Soundeon is service for attraction of financial resources and increase in income of musicians. On this platform fans buy a royalty (the rights to income from works by actors). Musicians use the money gained from sale for promotion of the creativity and the organization of concerts. With support of the audience the actor will have an opportunity to independently decide when and where he acts. The famous rock musician and the leader of the Mumiy Troll group Ilya Lagutenko acts as the mentor of the project.

History

2020: Attraction of investment means from IIDF

On December 1, 2020 the Internet Initiatives Development Fund (IIDF) announced investment into Soundeon, but volume of investments and the size of the received share in a startup did not begin to open. Service intends to spend the raised funds for business development in Europe.

Soundeon considers that the product of the company is especially relevant in the period of COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic when the musical industry because of crisis appeared among victims, and new technological capabilities have a direct impact on global transformation of this industry. According to creators of the project, it has no direct competitors yet, and the platform is distinguished by access to tools of analytics and management of the rights.

The IIDF invested in service for investment into musicians of Soundeon

The Soundeon service by the beginning already works to December, 2020 — the first the campaigns were started by indi-musicians from Spain. More than 10 investors already joined crowd funding on the platform.

Using the kraundfanding mechanism fans get access to future income of musicians in whom they invest. Musicians get support for record and development of the albums. We started with indi-musicians, now we will actively develop and involve actors of different genres — the co-founder of Soundeon Vadim Kurochkin noted.

According to forecasts of analysts of Goldman Sachs, the size of the market of the musical industry in 2020 will be $73.7 billion and in the next four years will reach $93 billion.[1]
