An automated system "Virtual Consultant" is being introduced at the All-Russian Railways, allowing users to receive advice on working in information systems. Particular attention is paid to the digitalization of the Baikal-Amur Railway. Until 2025, it is planned to equip BAM stations with automated systems for commercial inspection of trains and cars with laser scanners. In 2024, such systems will be installed at the stations Korshunikha-Angarskaya, Lena, Severobaikalsk and Taksimo.
The East Siberian Center for Innovative Development, together with the Irkutsk Center for Diagnostics and Monitoring of Infrastructure Devices, is working on the implementation of sensors for monitoring sedimentary deformations and displacement of the roadbed. The experimental site for equipment testing is located on the Kholodnaya - Kichera stretch at BAM.[1]
