Zvezda Plant is a complex, well-equipped complex with high technical and production potential, which allows you to efficiently and timely perform work in all main areas of the enterprise. The plant has developed hull, welding, painting and insulation, machine-building, foundry, blacksmith, pipe-processing, galvanic production.
History
2025: USC received a 14.1% stake in the Far Eastern Zvezda plant
On July 25, 2025, the Federal Property Management Agency announced the transfer of a 14.1% stake in Far Eastern Zvezda Plant to the authorized capital of the United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC).
The transaction was carried out to pay for additional shares placed by USC issued in connection with the increase in the authorized capital of the company. USC received 66,846,090 securities of the Zvezda plant. The Federal Property Management Agency notes that the procedure was carried out in pursuance of the decree of the President of Russia of October 8, 2021 No. 581 and the order of the Government of the Russian Federation of October 19, 2024 No. 2924-r.
"Star" is engaged in the repair of submarines of the Pacific Fleet. This is the only enterprise in the Far East that specializes in the conversion and modernization of nuclear submarine missile carriers. The plant includes a dock-hull workshop, a workshop for the aggregate repair of marine equipment, a tool-mechanical, repair-assembly-delivery, paint-insulation-gumming and pipe-mednitsky workshop, a site for the management of radioactive waste and spent nuclear fuel, as well as a central factory laboratory, an energy laboratory and a welding laboratory.
The plant has a water area with developed mooring walls with a total length of 1600 meters, equipped with portal cranes with a lifting capacity of 10, 32 and 80 tons. The equipment includes a unique ship lifting complex, including the Pallada transfer floating dock with a carrying capacity of 14.5 thousand tons, the Vympel transport and transfer dock with a carrying capacity of 40 thousand tons and a transborder for ships. In addition, there is a unique complex of test benches and a boathouse, consisting of two spans with domestic extensions. The staff of the enterprise, as stated on its website, has more than 3 thousand employees.[1]
