History

2018: Transfer of the Institute to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation

By order of the Government of the Russian Federation of June 27, 2018 No. 1293-r, the Institute was transferred to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.

2017: Assignment to the Academician A.G. Merzhanov Institute

By order of the Federal Agency for Scientific Organizations No. 497 of August 1, 2017, the Federal State Budgetary Institution of Science "Institute of Structural Macrokinetics and Materials Science Problems" of the Russian Academy of Sciences was named after Academician Alexander Grigorievich Merzhanov.

2013: Transfer of the Institute to the Federal Agency for Scientific Organizations

In accordance with the Federal Law of September 27, 2013 No. 253-FZ "On the Russian Academy of Sciences, the reorganization of state academies of sciences and amendments to certain legislative acts of the Russian Federation" and the Order of the Government of the Russian Federation of December 30, 2013 No. 2591-r, the Institute was transferred to the jurisdiction of the Federal Agency for Scientific Organizations.

2011: Renamed the Institute of Structural Macrokinetics and Materials Science Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences

By the Decree of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences of December 13, 2011 No. 262, the name of the Institute was changed to the Federal State Budgetary Institution of Science "Institute of Structural Macrokinetics and Materials Science Problems" of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

2007: Renaming as RAS Institution Institute of Structural Macrokinetics and Materials Science Problems

Based on the decree of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences of December 18, 2007 No. 274, the Institute of Structural Macrokinetics and Materials Science Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences was once again renamed the Institute of Structural Macrokinetics and Materials Science Problems.

1998: Transfer to the Department of Physicochemistry and Technology of Inorganic Materials

By Decree of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences of June 30, 1998 No. 264, the Institute of Structural Macrokinetics and Materials Science of the Russian Academy of Sciences was transferred from the Department of General and Technical Chemistry to the Department of Physicochemistry and Technology of Inorganic Materials.

1997: Renamed the Institute of Structural Macrokinetics and Materials Science Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences

In 1997, on the basis of a resolution of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences of December 26, 1997 No. 214, the Institute was renamed the Institute of Structural Macrokinetics and Materials Science of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

1990: Postdoctoral discovery

By the Decree of the Bureau of the Department of General and Technical Chemistry of the USSR Academy of Sciences of June 25, 1990 No. 96, a doctoral program in the specialties was opened at the Institute:

• 01.04.17 - "chemical physics, including combustion and explosion physics";
• 02.00.04 - "physical chemistry."

1989: Approved Specialized Dissertation Defense Council

By order of the Higher Attestation Commission under the Council of Ministers of the USSR of November 17, 1989 No. 258-k, a specialized council of the D.003.80.01 for the defense of dissertations for the degree of Doctor of Sciences at the Institute of Structural Macrokinetics of the USSR Academy of Sciences was approved.

1988: Approval of the structure of the institute and the opening of graduate school

After carrying out the necessary measures to ensure the functioning of the Institute, in accordance with the order of January 4, 1988 No. 2, the ISMAN structure was approved.

By the Decree of the Bureau of the Department of General and Technical Chemistry of the USSR Academy of Sciences of April 18, 1988 No. 89, a graduate school was opened at the Institute with a degree in 01.04.17 - "chemical physics, including combustion and explosion physics."

1987: Creation of the Institute of Structural Macrokinetics of the USSR Academy of Sciences

Pursuant to the Decree of the Council of Ministers of the USSR of January 12, 1987 No. 47 "On Measures to Ensure the Activities of the Interindustrial Scientific and Technical Complex" Thermosynthesis "by the Decree of the Presidium of the USSR Academy of Sciences of April 21, 1987 No. 186, it was decided:

• create the Institute of Structural Macrokinetics of the USSR Academy of Sciences (ISMAN) with the relevant design and technological services, experimental production, an experimental plant, a training center for training specialists in the Noginsk Scientific Center of the USSR Academy of Sciences (Chernogolovka village, Moscow Region) on the basis of the Department of Macrokinetics and Gas Dynamics of the Institute of Chemical Physics of the USSR Academy of Sciences, a complex of buildings and structures of the SAF built in accordance with the Decree of the Council of Ministers of the USSR of January 23, 1979 No. 81-25;
• assign responsibility to the Institute of Structural Macrokinetics of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR for the implementation of the functions of the parent organization of MNTK "Thermosynthesis" of the USSR Academy of Sciences and the USSR Ministry of Non-Ferrous Metallurgy;
• include the Institute of Structural Macrokinetics of the USSR Academy of Sciences in the Department of General and Technical Chemistry of the USSR Academy of Sciences.
