2021: Creation of the institution "Digital Culture"

The Ministry of Culture has created a federal state institution "Digital Culture," designed to implement measures to increase the accessibility of cultural organizations for young people. The corresponding order of the Government of the Russian Federation, signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, was published on August 31, 2021 on the official portal of legal information.

This was reported by TASS with reference to the corresponding document. It says that the staff of the new institution will include 30 people. The Ministry of Culture must approve the charter of the institution by September 10, 2021, and until September 15, 2021 it is planned to ensure state registration.

Under the Ministry of Culture formed the institution "Digital Culture"

The main goal of the Digital Culture is to organize and inform the implementation of social support measures for young people from 14 to 22 years old to increase the accessibility of cultural organizations.

From September 1, 2021, Russians from 14 to 22 years old can receive the Pushkin Card, which will allow them to attend concerts, museums and theaters for free. The face value of the card is three thousand rubles, they will need to be spent in four months in any region. The map can be obtained in the application "State Service. Culture." There will be a list of available events. The government allocated about 4 billion rubles for the implementation of the program.

According to Mikhail Mishustin, the launch of the Pushkin Card program as a whole is a very good measure of support.
