History

2013: Joining the Department for Subsoil Use in the Central Siberian District

In order to implement the Order of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation dated November 11, 2013 No. 500 "On Approval of the Layout of the Territorial Bodies of the Federal Agency for Subsoil Use" by Order of the Federal Agency for Subsoil Use dated December 2, 2013 No. 995, the Department for Subsoil Use in the Irkutsk Region was reorganized in the form of accession to the Department for Subsoil Use in the Central Siberian^[1].

2007: Renamed the Subsoil Use Department for the Irkutsk Region

By order of the Federal Agency for Subsoil Use dated January 19, 2007 No. 58, it was renamed the Department for Subsoil Use in the Irkutsk Region.

The Office for Subsoil Use in the Irkutsk Region (Irkutsknedra) was a territorial body of the interregional level of the Federal Agency for Subsoil Use and carried out functions for the provision of public services and management of state property in the field of subsoil use, as well as law enforcement functions in the Irkutsk Region and the Ust-Orda Buryat Autonomous Okrug. The Department organized the state geological study of the subsoil, the examination of projects, the geological, economic and cost assessment of mineral deposits, and also provided organizational support for the state system of licensing the use of subsoil resources^[2].

2004: Establishment of the Territorial Agency for Subsoil Use in the Irkutsk Region

By order of the Federal Agency for Subsoil Use dated August 13, 2004 No. 79, the Territorial Agency for Subsoil Use in the Irkutsk Region was created.
