Interregional Territorial Administration of the Federal Service for Supervision of Transport in the Far Eastern Federal District (MTU Rostransnadzor in the Far Eastern Federal District) is a territorial body of the interregional level of the Federal Service for Supervision in the Field of Transport, performing functions under federal state control (supervision) on road transport, urban land electric transport and in the road economy, in the field of railway transport, civil aviation, merchant shipping and inland water transport (with the exception of ensuring the safety of navigation of fishing vessels in fishing areas during fishing), transport safety, compliance with the rules for the technical operation of off-street vehicles and the rules for the use of off-street vehicles in case of withdrawal of the relevant powers in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Russian Federation, for state control (supervision) of the implementation by the executive authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation and local authorities of powers in the field of road transport, urban land electric transport and road facilities, as well as monitoring the implementation of the powers transferred to the state authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation to exercise federal state control (supervision) of compliance with the rules for the technical operation of off-street vehicles and the rules for the use of off-street vehicles in accordance with the Federal Law "On Off-Street Vehicles and on Amending Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation" on the territory of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation of the Far Eastern Federal District: The Republic of Buryatia, the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), the Trans-Baikal Territory, the Kamchatka Territory, the Primorsky Territory, the Khabarovsk Territory, the Amur Region, the Magadan Region, the Sakhalin Region, the Jewish Autonomous Region and the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug[1].

History

2021: Creation of MTU Rostransnadzor in the Far Eastern Federal District

Based on the order of the Ministry of Transport of Russia dated February 9, 2021 No. VB-203fs "On the reorganization of territorial bodies of the Federal Service for Supervision of Transport and the creation of the Interregional Territorial Administration of the Federal Service for Supervision of Transport in the Far Eastern Federal District" in the Federal Tax Service on June 1, 2021, the Interregional Territorial Administration of the Federal Service for Supervision of Transport in the Far Eastern Federal District (MTU Rosransnadzor in the Far Eastern Federal Federal District) was abolished) and 7 transport supervisory bodies were abolished:

  • Far Eastern Department of State Maritime Supervision of the Federal Service for Supervision of Transport (ICD Gosmornadzor);
  • Baikal Interregional Department of State Road Supervision of the Federal Service for Supervision of Transport (Baikal MUGADN) (g Ulan-Ude.);
  • East Siberian Interregional Department of State Road Supervision of the Federal Service for Supervision of Transport (East Siberian MUGADN);
  • Department of State Aviation Supervision and Supervision of Transport Security in the Far Eastern Federal District of the Federal Service for Supervision of Transport (UGAN NOTB FSD Rostransnadzor) (d Khabarovsk.);
  • Amur Department of State Maritime and River Supervision of the Federal Service for Supervision of Transport (Amur UGMRN Rostransnadzor) (Khabarovsk);
  • Far Eastern Interregional Department of State Road Supervision of the Federal Service for Supervision of Transport (Far Eastern Interregional GUEGIN of the Federal Service for Supervision of Transport) (Khabarovsk);
  • Far Eastern Department of State Railway Supervision of the Federal Service for Supervision of Transport (Far Eastern State Department of the Federal Service for Supervision of Transport) (Khabarovsk).

2005: Reorganization into the Far Eastern MUGADN

On January 20, 2005, the Khabarovsk regional branch of the Russian Transport Inspectorate was reorganized into the Far Eastern Department of State Road Supervision of the Federal Service for Supervision of Transport.

The Far Eastern Interregional Department of State Road Supervision of the Federal Service for Supervision in the Field of Transport was the territorial body of the interregional level of the federal executive body - the Federal Service for Supervision in the Field of Transport, performing functions for control and supervision in the field of road transport, urban land electric transport (except for road safety issues) and road facilities in the Khabarovsk Territory and the Jewish Autonomous Region.

1991: Formation of the Khabarovsk Regional Branch of the Russian Transport Inspectorate

On June 17, 1991, the Khabarovsk Regional Branch of the Russian Transport Inspectorate was formed.
