Transfer to the possession of companies of the Domodedovo group
On October 8, 2024, it became known about the transfer of key companies managing Domodedovo Airport under the control of the Russian legal entity DME Holding LLC. On April 17, 2024, the owner of Domodedovo Airport Dmitry Kamenshchik established DME Holding LLC, registered in the Moscow Region. Thus, the jurisdiction of the air harbor was changed to Russian.
According to Interfax, Kamenshchik is the ultimate controlling person of the Domodedovo group, as stated in the reports of the holding company DME Limited. This firm was registered in 2001 as FML Ltd in the Isle of Man, and in 2012 received Cypriot registration with a simultaneous change of name to DME Limited.
It is known that as of 2013, the formal owner of DME Limited was the structure of Alamo Limited registered in Mauritius, which at the end of 2015 changed its place of registration to Malta. And since December 2016, the owners of DME Limited are the Dutch DME Stichting Administratiekantoor and the Maltese Atlant Foundation. In June 2023, DME Limited established Erport Management Limited in a special administrative district on Oktyabrsky Island in the Kaliningrad Region (previously registered on the Isle of Man with the name Airport Management Company Limited). 19 companies participating in the management of Domodedovo, including Domodedovo Passenger Terminal, Domodedovo Erfield LLC, Domodedovo Commercial Services LLC, etc., came under the control of MKOOO.
The created structure of DME Holding LLC is registered in one of the premises of the passenger terminal of Domodedovo Airport. The main direction of work is declared "the activities of holding companies." In addition, the company can conduct airport activities and activities related to air transport. The authorized capital is 10 thousand rubles. The management included two CEOs - Alexander Mindrin and Sergey Mikhailov.[1]
