History

  • In 1994, a group of enthusiasts created the first version of the medical information system MEDIALOG. It was distributed in France and quickly gained success in the market of private practitioners and small clinics.

  • In 1999, Post Modern Technology was founded, the tasks of which were the development, support and commercial promotion of MEDIALOG in the Russian Federation and the CIS countries.

The first clients in Russia were the MEDSIS clinic, the multidisciplinary CENTER clinic, the MEDILUKS medical center (Reso Garantia). During this time, Post Modern Technology became one of the leaders in the medical automation market, and the MEDIALOG information system has established itself as one of the most reliable and flexible solutions in the market.

  • In 2004, the Medialog system became the leader in the market of commercial clinics and medical centers, it was used by more than 30 private medical institutions.

  • In 2005, the company was selected as a supplier of an information system for automation of three Moscow polyclinics of OAO GAZPROM and was successfully implemented in these institutions, where it is used as part of a unified information network in 350 workplaces. Today, this is the largest implementation of the MEDIALOG system. Also, a number of large state and departmental polyclinics and hospitals became customers of the company, including the Central Polyclinic of Russian Railways, the medical sanitary station of the Ministry of Energy, NIIPK named after Meshalkin in Novosibirsk, municipal polyclinics of Khabarovsk.

  • In 2006, the company made a strategic decision to develop joint solutions for the medical sector. Cooperation with domestic and western IT companies was initiated and intensified to promote integrated products (integration of MEDIALOG with contact centers, medical recorders, PACS systems).

2011: Armada acquired a controlling stake in PMT

On May 30, 2011, it became known that OJSC Armada acquired a controlling stake in Post Modern Technology LLC (PMT), a software developer in the field of healthcare informatization. At the first stage of the transaction, Armada received 51% of the PMT. PMT shareholders, who are simultaneously top managers of the company, have the opportunity to sell the remaining package in shares during 2013-2017. The valuation of the value of the shares will be in the range from 6 to 10 P/E with payment of cash or Armada shares.

The general director of AITI Management Company Igor Kasimov believes that the cost of PMT could amount to about 100 million rubles. In his opinion, Russia is still multiple in the level of spending on health care and its informatization, but the latest state initiatives to modernize health care are designed to change the situation. "According to our estimates, as part of the new programs, budgets for healthcare informatization can average about 100 million rubles this year. In Moscow and St. Petersburg, costs will be significantly higher. Part of these funds, of course, will go to the introduction of medical information systems, which include Medialog, "said Mr. Kasimov. There are now such companies as KMIS, Aksimed, CIR, Avicenna, Samson Vista on this market, but none of the leaders owns more than 10-15% of the market share, he points out.
