Localization of Aurus car production in Russia reached 90%

Localization of Aurus car production in Russia reached 90%. Such data in April 2024 was cited by Alexander Lebedev, deputy director of the Unified Modular Platform project at FSUE NAMI.

According to him, almost all components of the Aurus design are produced either in Russia or in friendly countries. Lebedev recalled that Aurus cars were developed in close cooperation with European, South Korean and other partners. An important role, for example, was played by Porsche Engineering, which supplied key components for the V8 engine. Also, the parts were purchased from the Japanese IHI, Robert Bosch, Edscha and other companies, some of which owned enterprises in Russia.
