Three applications are already available in the BIS KAMAZ application store:

• "Wink Music and Podcasts Online" is over 70 million musical compositions by Russian and foreign artists in high quality, as well as useful podcasts on a variety of topics - self-development, health, science and much more;
• "Wink Books" are thousands of audiobooks of various genres (Russian and foreign classics, non-fiction, fiction, thrillers, detectives), convenient search and the ability to download books allow you to listen to them during the journey even in the absence of the Internet;
• "Wink - TV, films, TV series" - these are more than 300 broadcast and thematic TV channels, as well as over 80,000 films, TV series and cartoons of various genres without advertising, including more than 50 projects of the Wink Originals line with such hits as "The Word of the Kid. Blood on asphalt, "" Fisher, "" Lily of the Valley. Such gentle love, "" GDR "and others.

Drivers access quality Wink content on all devices with the same account. To use the content in KAMAZ, you just need to go to the applications from Wink in the BIS under your usual account. You can start watching a film or TV show at home, and continue watching from the same place on the ENCORE KAMAZ screen during a break or rest.

2023: First truck released without parts from unfriendly countries

KamAZ released the first truck without parts from unfriendly countries. The press service of the plant announced this on February 6, 2023.

We are talking about the main tractor "KamAZ-54901." The new version, according to its developers, has improved technical characteristics. The car is equipped with modified cooling, neutralization, electrical equipment, on-board information system, cabin suspension and all heavy goods. The new car K5 replaced with an automatic transmission, a driving axle, a pneumatic system, and other components. In addition, the updated model has improved smoothness, reduced fuel consumption. An additional noise-insulating layer is also provided on the doors of the cab - it will provide more comfortable conditions for the driver.

The company noted that the first updated tractor was assembled on the conveyor in a common stream. Outwardly, it does not differ from the pre-reform version of the machine. The car is equipped with a K5 cab, which is based on the 2012 Mercedes-Benz Actros model (it has an additional noise insulation layer on the cab doors). The engine remained the same: this is a 450-horsepower turbodiesel with a volume of 12 liters "KamAZ-R6," which was developed in conjunction with the German-Swiss company Liebherr.

After leaving the main conveyor, the machine was examined by specialists from the KamAZ quality department in accordance with the duty procedure. After eliminating the identified comments, the car will be sent to the Scientific and Technical Center of the company, where its components and units will undergo a number of more tests. Certification of the updated model will be followed by its serial assembly.

KamAZ noted that despite the pressure of sanctions, due to which the supply of components from some countries was stopped, in 2022 the plant produced 150 trucks each month with an index of 54901 - auto components from stock were used in their production.^[1]

2022: Plan to replace all imported truck components K5

KamAZ plans to replace almost all imported components of K5 trucks by the end of 2022. This became known on May 27, 2022.

Trucks of the KAMAZ K5 series began to be produced in 2021. As of May 2022, cars are produced in a limited batch, 3-5 thousand cars per year. The limiting factor is the inventory of imported components.

Deputy Prime Minister Yury Borisov noted that the plant plans to import replace almost all the necessary components by the end of 2022 and increase production volumes from 2023^[2].
