Analysis of each second X-ray examination in a single 24-hour reference center

All radiological studies of adults policlinics Moscow conducted on digital diagnostic equipment are now analyzed in a single round-the-clock reference center - this is every second study in. To Moscow Thanks to this model of operation of the radiation diagnostics system, patients receive conclusions tens of times faster - its time preparation was reduced from 27.5 hours to 30 minutes. In addition, the location of radiologists in one territory allows you to quickly get a second opinion in difficult cases, consult with colleagues, and the concept involves the distribution of research according to different modalities and subspecializations. This was announced on February 2, 2023 by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Social Development. Anastasia Rakova

File:Aquote1.png
Radiological images come from polyclinics to a single digital cloud storage of medical images, are distributed according to different modalities and specializations, and specialists immediately begin to analyze them. The location of radiologists in one building allows you to quickly conduct the necessary expert consultations in the most difficult cases. The preparation time of the conclusion was reduced tenfold - from 27.5 hours to 30 minutes. Thanks to the organization of the reference center, patients of city polyclinics can now get the expert opinion of a specialist much faster, - said Anastasia Rakova.
File:Aquote2.png

Weekly radiologists describe thousands of CT scans, MRI scans, fluorograms, mammograms, densitometries and X-rays at the center. In order to improve the quality of the analysis of medical images and reduce the time spent by radiologists on the description of each image, the reference center developed and implemented the concept of allocating studies to different modalities, subspecializations and internal rotation. Radiologists analyze studies within their direction, in difficult cases they can quickly get advice from colleagues. Descriptions here are made around the clock 7 days a week and do not depend on the schedule of the clinic.

File:Aquote1.png
Thanks to telemedicine technologies, radiologists have the ability to remotely describe radiation studies performed in Moscow polyclinics and hospitals. Workplaces are equipped with automated workstations, it is possible to use "assistants" - voice input technology and artificial intelligence services. The process is as follows. The patient receives a referral, for example, for a CT scan from a clinician. It is carried out in a polyclinic, only an X-ray absorber works on the spot, the medical image is automatically uploaded to a single radiological information system. The doctor of our reference center receives a study and makes a description. At the same time, he can analyze the study using an artificial intelligence service, if necessary, immediately on the spot consult with colleagues and get additional information. Thanks to this, the specialist can describe more studies and in more comfortable conditions for him, - explained Yuri Vasiliev, chief freelance specialist in radiation and instrumental diagnostics in Moscow, director of the Center for Diagnostics and Telemedicine of the Moscow Department of Health.
File:Aquote2.png

As of February 2023, more than 40 artificial intelligence services in 17 different areas of research are operating in metropolitan medicine. Doctors use neural networks for processing fluorography, mammography, radiography, computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging. Artificial intelligence helps to find in the images signs of lung cancer, COVID-19, spinal osteoporosis, aortic aneurysm, coronary heart disease, stroke, pulmonary hypertension, hydrothorax, as well as breast cancer, flat feet and other diseases.

Moscow occupies one of the highest positions in the world on the digitalization of healthcare in general and radiation diagnostics in particular. The creation of a Moscow reference center for radiation diagnostics based on the Center for Diagnostics and Telemedicine is another step that is ahead of world practice: this is the first television and radio center organized in the state health care system.

Diagnostic devices of city hospitals and polyclinics are combined into a single digital network and connected to a single radiological information service (ERIS) of a single medical information and analytical system EMIAS (). Radiologists conduct a remote description of radiological studies and advise doctors in Moscow polyclinics using telemedicine technology. The patient receives an opinion in the electronic medical record on mos.ru and in "" mobile application EMIAS.INFO immediately after the radiologist finishes filling out the protocol. data Each patient's personal digital archive is also stored in the ERIS: doctors can contact it to track the dynamics of changes. All this significantly increases the quality of diagnostics.
