The state unitary enterprise of the city of Moscow "Moscow City Trust for Geological, Geodetic and Cartographic Works" (GUP "Mosgorgeotrest") solves the following problems:

• Provision of the city with modern spatial data, geodetic and cartographic materials and data, results and data of complex engineering surveys for preparation of design documentation, construction, reconstruction of capital construction facilities;
• preparation of technical conclusions on the possibility and conditions of design and construction;
• technical inventory of urban planning facilities;
• land management;
• inspection of building structures of buildings and structures;
• geodetic works at construction sites and control works construction ;
• maintenance of the Geofund of the city of Moscow, the creation and maintenance of a single state cartographic basis (EGKO) of the city of Moscow.

The Moscow City Trust for Geological, Geodetic and Cartographic Work was organized by decision of the Moscow City Executive Committee No. 13 of June 15, 1944.
