2020: Doctor of the Sklifosovsky Research Institute transferred 6.6 million rubles to VTB false workers

In mid-November 2020, it became known that fraudsters lured almost 6.7 million rubles from an employee of the Sklifosovsky Research Institute of Emergency Medicine.

According to the Moscow agency, citing a law enforcement source, on November 16, 2020, a surgeon at the Sklifosovsky Research Institute contacted the police. In her statement, she wrote that on November 10, a man who introduced himself as a bank security officer called her. He said that the woman's personal account in the bank was hacked and the attackers are trying to transfer her money to a third-party account. To save the funds, the caller offered to withdraw all the money and transfer it to the account indicated by him.

The doctor of the Sklifosovsky Research Institute transferred 6.6 million rubles to VTB false workers

First, the woman withdrew 1.66 million rubles from one ATM, and then 1.4 million rubles from another ATM. After that, an unknown person called the woman again and stated that a loan of 5 million rubles was issued in her name. The man offered to proceed to the shopping center on Golovinskoye Shosse and transfer all the money to the account indicated by him through a local ATM. In total, the woman transferred 6.66 million rubles to an unknown person.

According to Ren TV, in a conversation with the victim, the swindler introduced himself as an employee of VTB Bank. The victim lives in the Moscow region.

On the fact of the incident, law enforcement agencies are checking. By November 17, 2020, the issue of initiating a criminal case was being decided.

According to the Central Bank, in the first half of 2020, fraudsters managed to make more than 360 thousand unauthorized transactions and steal about 4 billion rubles from bank customers - of which banks returned only about 485 million (12.1%) to customers. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the number of crimes related to fraud with bank cards increased 6 times. In almost all cases, attackers are trying to illegally enrich themselves due to the imprudence and excessive credulity of their victims.[1] [2]

2019: Comprehensive automation of medical and diagnostic processes of a multidisciplinary hospital: accounting, quality, economics

For each nosology, a set of process flow charts is prepared consisting of:

  • Integrated Service Flow Chart
  • Process Flow Charts for Instrumental and Laboratory Diagnostics Services
  • Surgical Flow Charts
  • technological charts of anesthesiological manuals
  • technological charts of physical treatments

Total Planned Process Cost

Based on the developed standards (operograms, process charts) of the processes, the full regulatory cost of the patient's treatment process (completed case) is calculated, including:

  • Remuneration fund for medical personnel involved in the process, with accruals
  • Costs of medication (s) administered during treatment
  • Expenses for consumables used during patient treatment
  • Equipment Maintenance Costs
  • Equipment depreciation
  • Expenses for maintenance of non-medical personnel with charges, utility bills, cleaning, meals, etc.)

Calculation of the total standard cost

After calculating the full regulatory cost of treatment for a patient in nosology, a decision is made to submit documents to the DZM and MGFOMS to revise tariffs

According to the presented scheme for 2019, 13 tariffs were recalculated. For all calculations carried out, the difference between the approved tariffs and the full standard cost is from 20 to 470%.

For example: according to the results of the revision of tariffs for toxicology profiles, the tariff growth amounted to 6 times (from 12,410 rubles to 43,818 - 71,498 rubles). The additional annual income of the Institute due to tariff increases is at least 89 million. rubles

Introduction of "timepieces" that deliver food and medical supplies

In three Moscow hospitals - named after Vorokhobov, the Sklifosovsky Research Institute and the Filatov City Clinical Hospital - cat robots have appeared that can bring food and medicine, as well as accompany patients to the elevator and share useful information with them. The innovation unloads doctors.

As reported on the official website of the mayor of Moscow, cameras help robots navigate in space. To turn on the "timewash," you need to touch its "pubic," select the desired menu item on the display and press "Let's go!" After completing the route, the robot automatically returns to its place in the reception department to the triage zone, where the process of identifying patients in need of urgent medical care takes place, or to the registry.

Cat robots appeared in three Moscow hospitals

In the city clinical hospital No. 67 named after L.A. Vorokhobov, a robo-window is used in the neonatal intensive care unit. There, the robot delivers medical supplies, food for children, parenteral drugs from the treatment room to the wards. In addition, it delivers medicines and supplies to operating rooms.

At the flagship center of the N.V. Sklifosovsky Research Institute of Emergency Medicine, a robotic window helps to take patients and visitors to the observation room. To do this, the robot has smart induction trays that allow it to understand that the bag has been delivered or removed.

In the flagship center of the city clinical hospital No. 15 named after O.M. Filatov, two robocalls were introduced. One of them is based on the ground floor, helping to take patients and visitors to the observation room, escorts them to the rest room, to the toilet or elevator. Another robot moves on the second floor and helps transport biological materials, bedding and medical supplies.[3]

A new complex of the N.V. Sklifosovsky Research Institute will be built in Moscow

A new medical complex will be built on the site of the old Soviet buildings of the Sklifosovsky Emergency Research Institute. About this Mayor of Moscow Sergei Sobyanin during his visit to this institution.

File:Aquote1.png
When the flagship building appeared on the territory of the Sklifosovsky Research Institute, everyone understood the difference between modern and what was historically outdated. Therefore, we consulted with the leadership of Sklif, I think that we will also consult with you, but in general, we decided that we will build a modern new clinic on the site of the old Soviet buildings. About 120 thousand square meters, a whole medical city. The institute will become almost 1.5 times more, - said the mayor of the capital.

According to him, to create a new clinic there is serious work to be done "in terms of logistics, medical technologies, understanding how this building should work."

File:Aquote1.png
In fact, this is a new clinic: so that you are comfortable working, to make it comfortable for visitors to have the most modern medical technologies there... The project is not easy, because we work on the territory of the existing clinic, we will have to go through some difficulties, limitations, but ultimately we will get one of the most modern, not only in Moscow, but also in the world, clinics, which you, of course, deserve, "Sobyanin emphasized.

As part of the first stage of development, a flagship center was opened at the institute in January 2023. Hybrid operating rooms and a regional vascular center appeared in it, the mayor of Moscow recalled.

By the end of July 2023, about 1 million square meters of new buildings of clinics and hospitals are being built in Moscow, Sergei Sobyanin noted, congratulating the team of the Sklifosovsky Research Institute on the 100th anniversary of the institute.[4]

Development of a stent for tracheal and bronchial stenosis

Specialists of the N.V. Sklifosovsky Research Institute of Emergency Medicine began to use a hybrid self-expanding stent with perforations in patients with tracheal and bronchial stenoses. The medical product was created by Russian specialists together with developers from South Korea. This was announced on May 10, 2023 by the press service of the Moscow Department of Health.

With tracheal and bronchial stenosis, as the head of the department of endoscopy and intraluminal surgery of the Sklifosovsky Research Institute Yuri Teterin said, the lumen of these structures narrows. As a result, a person has a cough, shortness of breath, to the point that he can no longer breathe on his own. Stenting is used to help such patients. It does not cure the disease itself, but allows you to move the resulting barrier and free the respiratory tract. After that, patients can continue the main treatment, no longer experiencing breathing problems, he noted.

With tracheal and bronchial stenosis, the lumen of these structures narrows

Unlike previous generations of stents, which are also used in the violation of tracheobronchial patency, the new model, which began to be used at the N.V. Sklifosovsky Research Institute of Emergency Medicine, has a number of advantages. For example, doctors have the opportunity to stent the right and left bronchi separately, which allows you to adjust the position of the stent in each of the structures. And perforations do not block healthy bronchi and make it possible to easily carry out the necessary medical procedures, Teterin said.

One of the patients who was installed such a stent was a man with a mediastinal tumor. The neoplasm squeezed the trachea and bronchi, preventing air from entering the lungs. The man could breathe only with the help of a special device. Sklif's doctors performed stenting on the patient, which helped restore the body's respiratory function. Currently, the man is being treated by an oncologist at his place of residence. When medical indicators allow, stents can be removed.[5]

Start using the new method of removing adenomas

In February 2023, it became known that the Sklifosovsky Institute began to use a new method of removing adenomas. We are talking about radio frequency ablation technology. The device involved in the operation "actually" burns out "the tumor using a current that is supplied to the center of the affected tissue through the electrode," said Yuri Teterin, head of the department of endoscopy and intraluminal surgery at the N.V. Sklifosovsky Research Institute. Read more here.

The flagship ambulance center opened on the basis of the Sklifosovsky Research Institute

In mid-January 2023, the flagship ambulance center was opened on the basis of the N.V. Sklifosovsky in Moscow. It will operate under the new emergency standard. Here, new opportunities have been created for providing care to patients - both urgent and implying surgical intervention, explained Sergey Petrikov, director of the N.V. Sklifosovsky Research Institute of Emergency Medicine.

The 7-storey building with a total area of 21.2 thousand m2 is designed for 90 beds, including 30 resuscitation and intensive care beds. The capacity of the complex is 200 emergency patients per day. The complex has 9 operating rooms, including 2 hybrid ones. On the roof of the building there is a helipad. The center will employ 600 employees, including 188 doctors. Some of them will move from other branches of the research institute.

Sergei Sobyanin opened the flagship center of the Sklifosovsky Research Institute of Emergency Medicine

The reception department of the flagship center, located on the ground floor, will work on the principle of triage (from the French triage - sorting, selection). Incoming patients will be distributed according to the degree of urgency: red (patients require resuscitation or emergency surgery), yellow (requires help), green (stable patients).

Patients of the red category will be immediately referred for emergency diagnosis or to the operating room for surgery. For patients of yellow and green categories, the provision of assistance is organized according to the principle of "doctor - to the patient." That is, after the fastest registration in the reception department, the patient is placed on the bed and all further examinations and procedures are performed directly at the patient's bed.

Pneumatic mail will allow you to optimize the process of sending tests for research. The employee will set the end point - the department where the analysis must be sent will lower the patient's biomaterials into a special capsule, and everything will be promptly delivered without human participation. The test results will appear in the unified medical information and analytical system (EMIAS).[6]
