Perm State Humanitarian and Pedagogical University is a higher educational institution in Perm, an educational, cultural and scientific center of the Western Urals.

History

2022

According to the data for 2022, Perm Pedagogical University is a full-fledged educational campus located in the city center. The university consists of more than 20 buildings: educational and economic buildings, hostels, sports complexes, scientific stations. At the epicenter of academic life there are 4 educational buildings, where 13 faculties operate.

2012: Renamed Perm State Humanitarian Pedagogical University

By order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation dated May 25, 2012 No. 443, Perm State Pedagogical University was renamed Perm State Humanitarian and Pedagogical University.

2010

According to 2010 data, over 7,000 students studied at Perm State Pedagogical University. A specialist diploma (5 years of study) could be obtained in 26 specialties, a bachelor's diploma (4 years) in 2 areas, a master's degree (6 years) in one area. Postgraduate studies in 14 specialties and doctoral studies in the specialty "General psychology, personality psychology, history of psychology" functioned. Scientific schools of the Perm Pedagogical University have found recognition in Russia and abroad.

1994: Renamed Perm State Pedagogical University

By order of the State Committee of the Russian Federation for Higher Education of July 12, 1994 No. 699 and by order of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation of July 27, 1994 No. 290, the Perm Pedagogical Institute was renamed Perm State Pedagogical University.

1921: Establishment of Perm Pedagogical Institute

By the decision (resolution) of the Planning Commission of the Main Directorate of Vocational Education on September 9, 1921, the Perm Pedagogical Institute was formed.
