2023: Transfer of Hospital to Federal Ownership

In June 2023, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed an order to transfer the city clinical hospital (GKB) named after V.V. Vinogradov in federal ownership. This procedure, according to the document, takes place free of charge. No additional conditions are specified in the order.

The functions and powers of the founder of the medical institution, previously subordinate to the Moscow Department of Health, will be carried out by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation. The profile of the clinic will not change. The transfer of property assigned to hospitals from Moscow's property will take six months, according to a government document published on June 22, 2023.

It is specified that the hospital named after V.V. Vinogradov was transferred from city property to the department of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation in order to join the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN University). The City Clinical Hospital was previously a clinical base for the medical department of the university - there are 11 departments of RUDN University. Now, according to the university, the scientific component of the medical institution will be strengthened, and new types of medical care will be introduced into practice.
