2020: Opening of the center of perspective nuclear technologies
The Rosatom state corporation and Far Eastern Federal University (DVFU) opened on October 14, 2020 on Russky Island the International Research Center of Perspective Nuclear Technologies (IRCPNT) which will provide remote access to work on research nuclear reactors of Rosatom for the Russian and foreign students, young scientists and specialists and also will become development center of digital solutions for projects for development of the Far East and the countries of the Pacific Rim.
Access to experience of Rosatom in the field of end-to-end digital technologies will be provided to users of MNITSPYAT. Using provided in the Development center in the field of artificial intelligence, industrial Internet of Things and production technologies among which digital doubles, users of MNITSPYAT will be able to solve problems of modeling of objects and the environment surrounding them, an ecological and climatological situation in the Far East and also an economic basis which relies on rich resources of the region.
The director of digitalization of ROSATOM State Corporation Ekaterina Solntseva, the First Deputy CEO of JSC Nauka i innovatsii (Rosatom State Corporation) Alexey Dub, the deputy CEO of Tsifrum company (Rosatom State Corporation) Anton Zapryagayev, the rector of DVFU Nikita Anisimov, the Deputy Minister for the Development of the Russian Far East and the Arctic Vasily Nagibin, representatives of the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation, and Government of Primorsky Krai, others participated in the opening ceremony of MNITSPYAT.
The center can become a good example of practical application of digital technologies in the Far East region. Participation in the specific projects including implemented in the region by Rosatom will provide higher level of preparation of the engineering personnel. Use on the platform MNITsPYaT of the software "Logos" for solving of tasks of construction and operation of wind farms, tasks in the field of gas dynamics, aerodynamics, including, for development of solutions at design and production of small aircraft and unmanned aerial vehicles, constructions of modern sea vessels, including atomic ice breakers is actively discussed. |
In the Far East is created this technology valley attractive for technology entrepreneurs, innovators, investors and the largest corporations, – she concluded. |
Directly on Russky Island specialists of JSC Nauka i innovatsii - a scientific division of ROSATOM State Corporation were engaged in creation of the Center.
