2021: Opening of a children's medical center for 260 million rubles in Moscow

At the end of March 2021, the Russian Railways-Medicine company opened a children's medical center in Moscow, in the creation of which about 260 million rubles were invested. This is the first such clinic for the network of medical institutions of Russian Railways.

When we already gained experience on the example of our clinics in the regions, we realized that there should be a children's clinic in which a parent wants to bring his child... Support for motherhood and childhood has always been the focus of our attention. That is why we decided to create not just a children's clinic, but to go further and make a high-tech medical space that sets the bar for the entire industry, "said Elena Zhidkova, head of the Central Directorate of Health of Russian Railways.

The center can do densitometry, CT and MRI studies, ECG, X-rays, ultrasound, endoscopy, functional and laboratory diagnostics, etc. The clinic is assisted by specialists in the fields of surgery, dermatology, dentistry, otorhinolaryngology, pediatric gynecology-urology, psychotherapy, genetics, etc.

The project lasted about three years. The medical center is a 5-story building with an area of ​ ​ 5 thousand square meters. m The opening of the institution took place on March 26. The center will receive visitors through VMS and on a paid basis.

For the convenience of visitors, a touch screen is installed in front of each room. It broadcasts background information, a photograph of the doctor and information about him are available. Parents of small patients when visiting the clinic are given a personal QR code, which can be attached to the reader installed at the bottom of the screen. The system then automatically informs the doctor of the patient's arrival.

Providers of medical services rarely decide to open specialized children's clinics, giving preference to children's and adult departments in the structure of one branch. For example, Medsi and SM-Clinics have separate clinics for children. ^[1]
