Yenisei Department of the Federal Service for Environmental, Technological and Nuclear Supervision (Yenisei Department of Rostekhnadzor) is a territorial body of the interregional level, performing the functions of the Federal Service for Environmental, technological and nuclear supervision in the established field of activity in the territories of the Republic of Tuva, Republic of Khakassia, Krasnoyarsk Territory and Irkutsk Region, supervision of organizations, carrying out the operation, overhaul, technical re-equipment, preservation and liquidation of main pipeline transport facilities at the location of a legal entity in the territory of the city of Norilsk in relation to all hazardous production facilities, included in a single production and technological complex of the main pipeline, including facilities located on the territory of other constituent entities of the Russian Federation (Regulation on the Yenisei Department of Rostekhnadzor, approved by Order of the Federal Service for Environmental, Technological and Nuclear Supervision dated August 29, 2022 No. 273).
History
2019: Change of territory of activity
From April 1, 2019, by order of the Federal Service for Environmental, Technological and Nuclear Supervision dated December 26, 2018 No. 650, the territory of the Yenisei Department of Rostekhnadzor was changed. Powers in the established field of activity extended to hazardous production and power facilities located in Norilsk and the Taimyr Dolgan-Nenets district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
2012: Joining the Baikal Administration of the Federal Service for Environmental, Technological and Nuclear Supervision
Pursuant to the order of the Federal Service for Environmental, Technological and Nuclear Supervision dated October 12, 2012 No. 576 "On the Yenisei Department of the Federal Service for Environmental, Technological and Nuclear Supervision," the Baikal Department of Rostekhnadzor was reorganized in the form of joining the Yenisei Department of Rostekhnadzor.
2009: Renamed the Yenisei Department of the Federal Service for Environmental, Technological and Nuclear Supervision
Since July 1, 2009, pursuant to the Order of the Federal Service for Environmental, Technological and Nuclear Supervision dated April 22, 2009 No. 310, the Yenisei Interregional Territorial Department of Technological and Environmental Supervision was renamed the Yenisei Department of the Federal Service for Environmental, Technological and Nuclear Supervision (Yenisei Department of Rostekhnadzor) with the accession of the Office for Technological and Environmental Supervision Supervision of Rostekhassia.

Renaming as Yenisei Interregional Department for Technological and Environmental Supervision
Order of the Federal Service for Environmental, Technological and Nuclear Supervision of November 22, 2004 No. 179, for the purpose of an integrated approach in organizing the activities of territorial bodies, avoiding internal duplication of functions, approaching control and supervision, licensing and permitting activities to supervised facilities in the regions, as well as improving the efficiency of interaction with the territorial bodies of federal executive bodies and executive bodies of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, The Yenisei District Department for Technological and Environmental Supervision was renamed the Yenisei Interregional Department for Technological and Environmental Supervision.
Renaming as Yenisei District Office for Technological and Environmental Supervision
By decree of the President of the Russian Federation of March 9, 2004 No. 314 "On the system and structure of federal executive bodies," the Federal Mining and Industrial Supervision of Russia was transformed into the Federal Service for Technological Supervision with the transfer of the function of energy supervision to it.
By Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of May 20, 2004 No. 649 "Issues of the Structure of Federal Executive Bodies," the Federal Service for Technological Supervision and the Federal Service for Nuclear Supervision were transformed into the Federal Service for Environmental, Technological and Nuclear Supervision, the leadership of which is carried out by the Government of the Russian Federation.
By order of the Government of the Russian Federation of July 30, 2004 No. 1024-r, the Federal Service for Environmental, Technological and Nuclear Supervision subordinated the departments of districts, management and inspections of Gosgortekhnadzor of Russia and interregional districts of Gosatomnadzor of Russia. In order to implement this order and ensure the continuity of powers for supervision and control, licensing, permitting activities and other powers, the Office of the Yenisei District of Gosgortekhnadzor of Russia was renamed the Office of the Yenisei District for Technological and Environmental Supervision of the Federal Service for Environmental, Technological and Nuclear Supervision.

1993: Formation of the Federal Mining and Industrial Supervision System of Russia
By decree of the President of the Russian Federation of February 18, 1993 No. 234, Gosgortekhnadzor of Russia received the status of a Federal executive body specially authorized to carry out state regulatory regulation of industrial safety issues on the territory of the Russian Federation, as well as special permitting, supervisory and control functions. The implementation of these functions was entrusted to the territorial bodies subordinate to it (district administrations, inspections), which, together with the central apparatus, formed a single system of Federal Mining and Industrial Supervision of Russia (Gosgortekhnadzor of Russia).
1992: Renamed Yenisei Mountain District Administration
In 1992, given the independence of the Subjects of the Federation of the supervised region, the Krasnoyarsk District was renamed Yenisei.

In 1961, the Office was transferred supervision of chemical and metallurgical enterprises.
1954
Since 1954, supervision of boiler monitoring facilities and lifting facilities has been transferred to the district. The district administration was actively involved in resolving issues related to the development of Krasnoyarsk power, ensuring the reliability and safe operation of thermal power plants, heating boiler houses, and subsequently gas supply facilities.
1947: Formation of the Office of the Krasnoyarsk Mining District
On December 16, 1947, by Decree of the Council of Ministers of the USSR No. 4048, the Office of the Krasnoyarsk Mining District was formed with three mountain regions - Norilsk, Minusinsk, Chernogorsk.
