Voronezh customs is structurally related to the Central Customs Administration. The Central Customs Administration (CTU) is the territorial body of the Federal Customs Service (FCS of Russia), which is part of the unified federal centralized system of customs authorities of the Russian Federation and ensures the implementation of the tasks and functions of the FCS of Russia in the Central Federal District. From October 1, 2020, the region of activity of the Voronezh customs is the Voronezh, Lipetsk and Tambov regions.

History

2020: Joining Lipetsk Customs

In order to improve the structure and increase the efficiency of the activities of the customs authorities of the Russian Federation located in the Central Federal District on the basis of Order of March 27, 2020 No. 327 "On the reorganization of Lipetsk and Voronezh customs" from October 1, 2020, Lipetsk customs was reorganized in the form of joining the Voronezh customs (the region of activity of the Voronezh customs was the Voronezh, Lipetsk and Tambov regions)[1] of [1].

2012: Accession of Tambov Customs

In order to improve the structure of customs authorities located in the Central Federal District on the basis of Order No. 1366 of July 6, 2012 "On the reorganization of the Tambov and Voronezh customs" from November 1, 2012, the Tambov customs was reorganized in the form of joining the Voronezh customs[2].
