Prepreg-SKM

In 2009 the Kompozit Holding company together with JSC RUSNANO formed project company "Prepreg-SKM" for production of fabrics and prepregs on the basis of carbon fiber comparable on quality with world analogs for use in civil aircraft industry, wind power, construction, shipbuilding and other industries.

Products

The Prepreg-SKM enterprise locates the modern and conforming to international standards park of the equipment — the age of production units does not exceed 5 years. In 2015 "The Kompozit holding company organized a warehouse in the city of Kladno (Czech Republic) — 20 main articles of products are available to delivery to any European Union country within 3-4 working days.

Carbon cloths, multiaxial fabrics and prepregs as a part of composition materials differ in the low weight, durability and corrosion resistance. Thanks to unique characteristics these materials are demanded in an avia - sudo-and automotive industry, power and construction, pipeline transport and also in production of consumer goods.

Products of the company in the products are already used by producers of yachts from Italy — Sanlorenzo company and its subcontractors and also the Italian distributor in the ship-building sector of "T&T Metalli i Compositi" and also the Austrian distributor of Polychem.

Performance Indicators

2015

At the end of 2015 "Prepreg-SKM" produced 500,000 running meters of the full-strength and unidirectional carbon fabrics, designer fabrics, fiber glass fabric, carbon grids and also 40,000 running meters of multiaxial fabrics and 2500 kg of prepregs. In the current year the company is going to increase production volumes by 50% within import substitution program implementation and also implementation plans of products for export. In 2015 the export share in sales pattern of the company made 6%. In 2016 this indicator is going to increase to 30%.

The Prepreg-SKM RUSNANO portfolio company (enters into structure "The Kompozit holding company) during 2016 is going to increase by 50% production of hi-tech products — different face values of technical fabrics and prepregs on the basis of carbon fiber for use in aircraft industry, shipbuilding and construction. At the enterprise more than 200 names of fabrics from carbon fiber and 25 articles of prepregs are developed.
