According to the fund, the Geecko platform reduces the cost of attracting and the cost of testing specialist skills in comparison with traditional hiring methods (recruiting, headhunting) by using alternative channels for attracting candidates (HR marketing activities, creating games for testing developer skills, etc.). Geecko makes for its clients a selection of potential candidates with the required set of skills and characteristics, which "improves the effectiveness of hiring, as well as develops their HR brands." The company is developing a B2B/B2E product that can solve the problem of attracting and retaining programmers through game mechanics. It works like this:

  • the customer contacts Geecko and lists the technologies and skills that new employees should possess.
  • Geecko creates a game where you need to program and own customer technologies. The one who has the skills pumped in better than the rest will win.
  • the customer watches the participants, evaluates their skills and invites the winner along with the players he likes to the team.

The main customers of the startup are large business with a high need for annual hiring of programmers. Geecko passed the American accelerator Alchemist and began selling in the US market.
