Alchemist accelerator – is directed to acceleration of development of the businesses working at an early stage of financing, and getting profit on the enterprises, but not from consumers. The main selection criteria which are set by an accelerator and have paramount value, commands which have distinctive technical cofounders are. The accelerator selects about 75 companies (data for March, 2019) which gain income from the enterprises, using three special programs a year.

On March 11, 2019 it became known what BASF Venture Capital, engaged in support of the young perspective companies worldwide, invests 2 dollars million USA in fund of an accelerator Alchemist. About a half of all means will be aimed at the development 3D - printings, agricultural technologies, information science of the materials, a power supply and technologies changing tenor of life. This investment supports the strategy BASF directed including to use of the digital technologies stimulating business growth.
Alchemist earned reliable reputation thanks to involvement of the best specialists in all digital ecosystem. From the moment of foundation of Alchemist in 2013, 24 companies sponsored by an accelerator were purchased already. Also more than hundred firms began to receive financing from the leading venture capital companies located in Silicon Valley, for example: Andreessen Horowitz, Bessemer Venture Partners, Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Foundation Capital, Founders Fund, Greylock Ventures, Menlo Ventures, Redpoint Ventures, Social + Capital Partnership and True Ventures.
