2025: Opening of a new medical center in Kursk with 13 thousand units of medical equipment
A new military hospital was commissioned in Kursk, equipped with more than 13 thousand units of modern medical equipment and designed for 150 beds with the possibility of expansion to 300 beds. The medical complex includes 21 buildings with a total area of 26 thousand square meters on the territory of 12.5 hectares and is intended for medical care in all major areas. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Russia on September 15, 2025.
"416 Military Hospital of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation" includes administrative-polyclinic and medical-diagnostic buildings equipped with the latest technology. Medical equipment includes a computed tomograph, X-ray machines, expert-class ultrasound equipment, endoscopic racks and laser equipment.
State Secretary - Deputy Minister of Defense Anna Tsivileva stressed that the hospital was built as soon as possible as part of the renovation program of military medical organizations. The construction of the medical complex began in 2023 after determining the urgent need for a modern medical corps for the territorial garrison.
