2024: Polyplastic bought 25% of QMonitoring
Polyplastic Group, the largest producer of polymer pipes in Russia, acquired a 25% stake in QMonitoring, a developer of an artificial intelligence video analytics system for construction monitoring. As a result of the transaction, which was announced on June 3, 2024, the estimate of the cost of the QMonitoring project amounted to more than 200 million rubles.
As part of the partnership, the Polyplastic group will provide construction sites for the deployment and testing of an innovative video analytics system, a QMonitoring spokesman said. This will improve the technology and adapt it to the needs of the construction industry.
According to Polyplastic, the QMonitoring system is designed for automated monitoring of the efficiency of builders and special equipment, linking these indicators with the construction plan and tasks at the construction site. According to the developers, the implementation of the solution can reduce downtime costs by up to 60%, and construction control ㅡ up to 30%.
QMonitoring ㅡ this is a new step in the digitalization of the construction sector. This technology is unique, including thanks to the developed biometric module and the ability to identify objects by QR tags. The introduction of an innovative video analytics system will significantly reduce costs at the stage of analyzing and choosing a building site, make it possible to predict security threats and manage financial risks. |
According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, by the beginning of June 2024, the main owners of Intellectual Construction Solutions LLC, which manages the QMonitoring service, are Daniil Kruchinin and the company's general director Arkady Froymchuk with shares of 44.05% each, as well as Matrix LLC with a share of 11.9%.[1]
