2025: Launch of a polymer composite plant in Mordovia for ₽1,5 billion
The state corporation Rosatom has put into operation the second stage of the production cluster Center for Polymer Composites in the territory of the advanced socio-economic development of Ruzayevka in Mordovia. The volume of investments in the project amounted to ₽1,5 billion. The opening of high-tech production of the composite division of the state corporation was reported on August 27, 2025.
According to RIA Novosti, the new enterprise specializes in the production of composite structures and ready-made solutions for various industries. The produced products find application in the construction sector, agriculture, energy industry, in the creation of railway and transport infrastructure, the formation of a comfortable urban environment.

The launch of the second stage allowed to increase the production capacity of the enterprise from 1200 to 3900 tons per year. The new production became the largest pultrusion enterprise in Russia for the production of composite materials.
The head of Mordovia Artyom Zdunov noted the importance of opening a new production associated with the latest materials. According to him, composite structures are distinguished by ease of use, durability and high wear resistance. The head of the region stressed the importance of such materials for industry and the sphere of housing and communal services.
Alexander Tyunin, General Director of the composite division of Rosatom State Corporation, called the launch of a new production line an important step in the development of advanced materials that form the country's technological sovereignty. According to him, the division is the absolute leader in the composite industry of Russia.
Tyunin thanked the leadership of the region for the systematic support of the investment project in Ruzayevka, and the production team for the energy and development of the product line. He noted the expansion of the production site and the range of products.
The company has created about 300 new jobs. Currently, 175 people work in production. Many employees are residents of Ruzayevka, who returned from Moscow and other cities for employment in a new enterprise.[1]
