History

2020: Bankruptcy

On April 10, 2020 it became known of filing of application about bankruptcy of Scooter Schering company. The document came to arbitration court of Moscow on April 9 and is not taken cognizance yet.

In a card file of arbitration court concerning Scooter Schering company two more claims also appear (in addition to the case of bankruptcy) – in August, 2019 the individual entrepreneur Sergey Moruga demanded a debt in the amount of 3.3 million rubles, the claim was satisfied partially. And in March, 2020 the Prime Minister Laser company demanded from service of scooters to repay a debt in the amount of 182 thousand rubles, case is considered by April 10, 2020.

Earlier invested in the company MSP Bank, ВЭБ.РФ, etc. The organization is registered in 2015 and functioned as the microenterprise on a simplified tax system.

"The scooter a Schering" was based by the Kaliningrad businessman Vasily Bykov. The startup offers a franchize on development of rental centers of scooters. It works in 12 Russian cities, including in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Sochi and Krasnodar (as of April 10, 2020).

"The scooter a Schering" participated in the Russian accelerator of Generation S and the American Urban X. "The scooter a Schering" received from Urban X $110 thousand for 7% of the company.

In the presentation "The Schering scooter" intended to investors it was said that scooters are a part of city infrastructure, just as car-sharing or bicycle rolling. It is possible not just to ride them, but also to reduce a way to the subway or in general to use as replacement of public transport at short distances.

"The Schering scooter" competed in Moscow service of rolling of the Delisamokat electroscooters which appeared in May, 2018. Then the similar project was started by carsharing company YouDrive.^[1]

2019: Opening of network of automatic stations of rolling of scooters in Helsinki

On May 28, 2019 it became known that Samocat Sharing company, the resident Skolkovo, opened network of automatic stations of rolling of scooters in Helsinki. In May, 2019 in the capital of Finland around Vuosaari earned 30 stations at which 150 mechanical and 150 electric scooters are parked.

Stations of lease of Samocat Sharing network are completely automated and work without participation of the person. It is possible to rent the scooter through free mobile application of Samocat Sharing. For lease it is enough to undergo fast registration, to select the nearest station and, having scanned the QR code there, to take away the pleasant scooter. Lease on any of stations of network automatically after the premises of the scooter in the lock comes to the end.

The service of lease of scooters in the city supplements service of lease of bicycles, popular in Helsinki, as on the scooter it is possible to pass with comfort one-two kilometers from a stop of public transport to the destination.

Vasily Bykov told:

It is not the first work experience of our company in Finland — tells. — (Pilot project) we held testing of stations of lease of scooters in 2017 near Helsinki, in the university city of Espoo. We were convinced that our scooters quite are suitable for local climate and a landscape. The business model of their rolling was also at the best, having proved the efficiency. Therefore we expect that installation of our stations in Helsinki will become one of the initial stages of development of the Samocat Sharing system in Finland". The Region of Vuosaari to start work of service is selected not accidentally, it is located in 15 kilometers to the east of the center of Helsinki on the bank of the Gulf of Finland and has the most suitable landscape for movement on scooters. Stations of lease will work in the capital of Finland until the end of October, 2019. However the total quantity of stations and scooters can be increased if the available vehicles will appear insufficiently.

Further the company is going to develop service approximately in ten cities of Finland and also to enter the markets of other EU countries, Great Britain, Egypt, India and the Middle East. In total for May, 2019 122 stations of rolling work (1220 the scooter), in this season their number it is going to increase up to 700 (7000 scooters). Automatic stations of lease of Samocat Sharing are manufactured in Russia at the plant of the company in Kaliningrad.

2018: Victory in the tender IdeaLab

In 2018 the Samocat Sharing company founded by the Russian entrepreneurs won the competition IdeaLab announced by transport management of Helsinki (HSL). It was carried out for detection of the ideas of development of city transport infrastructure. Based on tender with prize fund of 1 million euros two winners who halved this amount were selected.

In 2018 the network was started in 5 cities of Russia: Moscow, Novosibirsk, Sochi, Krasnodar and St. Petersburg.

2017: System testing of a Schering of scooters

In 2017 system testing of a Schering of scooters in a campus of the Espoo university (Finland) was held.
